The PT6010E is a battery protection chip designed to protect 8-10 series lithium-ion/polymer batteries, lithium iron phosphate batteries, or lithium titanate batteries. It reduces the risk of battery damage or shortened lifespan due to overcharging, over-discharging, over-temperature, and/or overcurrent conditions.
A ±25mV overcharge detection voltage accuracy ensures safe full-capacity charging of the battery. A ±10mV current detection voltage accuracy ensures accurate triggering of discharge overcurrent.
The PT6010E’s charging and discharging overtemperature protection thresholds can be independently set via external resistors.
The PT6010E can directly drive external N-type charging MOSFETs and N-type discharging MOSFETs.
The PT6010E’s low-power design allows the battery pack to consume only negligible current during storage.
